Reports directly to the president (contract: part-time until June, full-time June-August)
At YoungLeaders, we challenge the status quo by liberating teenagers to unleash their inner crazy genius and to dare to create. Within one year of existence, YoungLeaders has brought together the crazy genius teenagers of Montreal, a world-class team, and reputable guests and partners.
YoungLeaders is creating a novel summer program for teenagers. For 8 weeks this summer, 5 teams are going to live together and learn by building products that improve lives and disrupt industries. We strive on making this cohort the flagship program of YoungLeaders. Our goal is to have 15 teen creators, 5 impactful products, and the best summer for all the participants.
We are looking for the best person to teem our members with memorable experiences working on revolutionary products, discovering Montreal, and making friends for life. We are looking to nurture not just the mind, but the body and soul too.
Concretely, the role includes but is not limited to:
Develop a trust-based relationship with partners: ensure goals, objectives, and contractual commitments of partners are met via project execution
Remain knowledgeable at all times about the status of accounts; ensure work is completed accurately and on time
Anticipate members and partners’ needs and create new opportunities for deeper relationships and year-long engagement
Deliver a five-star experience to members during every day of the summer program
Ensure the end-to-end execution of partnership on time and within budget
Ensure the delivery of all logistics pertaining to the members’ experience:
Arrival/departure of members and deliveries
Caterer services on site
Support President in the production of debriefing documentation for each partner and actively participate in the production of internal debriefs
Remain available on-site to take quick action and respond to last-minute partner and members requests or problems
Maintain a schedule of partners and members’ events
Coordinate with President to ensure smooth operation of:
Food and beverage (all orders prior to and during the cohort, etc.)
Space (inventory and schedule of spaces, etc.)
Participant experience (Concierge service, member support, etc.)
Physical and cultural activities
Produce a debrief report on the tasks pertaining to this position and identify ways to improve it for the next edition
Experiences that might lead to a good fit:
Leading a program or event
Establishing partnerships and being accountable for budget
Hospitality, concierge, or simply taking care of people
